La Arenera Live at M3 Festival 2026
— —
Roulette, 509 Atlantic Avenue (Corner of Third Avenue) , Brooklyn, NY 11217
La Arenera is the partnership and sonic playspace of Paige Brown and Carolina Borja-Marroquin. La Arenera sounds like freedom, exploration and thrill, tastes like a delicious meal combining spices and flavors from the African diaspora and the Indigenous people in the Americas. It is a place of joy, of liberation–a liminal plane (that stretches from Bogotá to Arkansas), where no boundaries exist.
Mutual Mentorship for Musicians (M³) is an initiative dedicated to advancing the professional and artistic growth of women and gender-expansive musicians across genres, generations, and cultural backgrounds. Founded in 2020 and based in NYC, M³ invests in the development of underrepresented musicians whose work is rarely centered in mainstream music spaces and who have historically lacked access to mentorship and resources. M³ provides financial support, mutual mentorship, and opportunities for performance and exchange to build a music ecosystem where musicians of all identities can thrive. By advocating for fair distribution of compensation, visibility, and opportunity, M³ strives to create a more vibrant and equitable cultural landscape for all.
The one-day, marathon-style festival will feature: • 11 sets & 33 musicians plus food, drink • M³ Magazine Vol. 2 launch • M³ Cohort 9 Announcement • A chance to join the 6pm VIP Cocktail Reception with the artists
